Mark Laufenberg, President, PowerWorld

Dr. Laufenberg has been the President of PowerWorld Corporation, which he co-founded, since its inception in 1996. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1996 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and has been the Principal Investigator on several National Science Foundation Small Business Innovation Research grants. He has taught a course on technical entrepreneurship at the University of Illinois, where he was a Visiting Professor.
