Jay Jacobsen is a Senior Energy Risk Management Analyst with Puget Sound Energy responsible for forecasting PSE electric power costs for financial planning, including Company rate cases and strategic planning. He directed the effort to develop an AURORA based cost forecast and risk analyses of PSE’s power supply portfolio for recent rate cases filed with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission. Prior to PSE, Mr. Jacobsen worked as a senior resource planner at Washington Natural Gas and Tacoma City Light. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University and a Master of Science in Engineering Science from Dartmouth.
