Description:
EPIS is seeking a person in technical sales to work with energy businesses, energy developers, power marketers, utilities and large energy users in the USA. The ideal candidate will be strong technically, have financial skills, and have the ability to work with clients to address their needs for energy market solutions. Our clients use the AURORAxmp Electric Market Model to create innovative solutions to problems, perform forecasting and modeling for resource acquisitions, capital investment, energy price calculations, contract negotiations, financial projections and business forecasts for energy businesses.

Your role is to help energy businesses acquire this state of the art energy forecasting and risk analysis tool. This includes generating and pursuing leads, establishing and building relationships, structuring deals based on customer’s needs, preparing proposals, preparing and delivering presentations, and closing deals that meet client needs.

Qualifications:
• BS or BA degree
•Previous sales experience
•Excellent communication skills and written are essential
•Working knowledge of MS Excel and Windows-based tools is helpful
•Integrity, creativity, high energy, and a strong work ethic

Position Title: Senior Support Analyst
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: Depends on qualifications. Includes full benefits package.
Location:Sandpoint, Idaho

Job Description: Senior support analyst to help customers solve problems using industry leading software. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with an analytical aptitude to join a pace-setting software firm. .

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as math, engineering, economics, statistics or equivalent. Master’s degree a plus.
Work History: Minimum of two years experience in power or energy industry. Familiarity with LMP power markets and transmission systems a plus. Experience using power market simulation software to forecast prices a plus.
Computer: Demonstrated proficiency and enjoyment in learning and using various software applications. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn database languages such as SQL. Experience in DB query design and in programming (VB, C, etc.) a plus.
Qualities: Professional and friendly. Strong communication skills; including active listening, technical writing, informal teaching and giving presentations. Organized; must effectively manage time to meet various responsibilities and deadlines. Dependable, with a high level of integrity and the ability to work both individually and in a team. Demonstrated aptitude for attention to detail.
Other: Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a willingness to research and learn new techniques and software applications.

Responsibilities:
• Support customers in their use of AURORAxmp®, the premier power market simulation model.
• Build customer relationships.
• Work on specific research projects.
